A sunrise as seen from our flightline. It can be beautiful here but those moments stand out even more since most of the vistas are rather monotonous.

What a beautiful picture, reminds me of some that I have seen in eastern OR minus the chinook. I guess it wouldn't be right to plant all of your Christmas trees when you leave, but it might help.
Do you know? would they live, no water?

It does look like an Eastern Oregon picture and if it was in Pendleton it might have a Chinook :) People have planted some of the trees but I don't give them much chance without someone watering them. There are trees here but they are all down closer to the river where their roots can get to water. We are up on a plateau so I think the survival odds are pretty low. Just so you know I plan on planting mine :)
