My room right after I moved in. It stayed this way for a couple of days until I had time to move things around.

David,
Just read about the Chinook crash. Gone through a lot of emotions the last 15 minutes! I don't often get nervous about these things (Lyons trait), but looking at the location, etc. the odds are that it was you or one of the pilots in the unit...I pray with all my heart, mind, and soul that you are alright. And if you are, I still pray for the five men that died and their families…and for you and others that must have known them well. Don’t know what to say… other than I love you. – Your brother, Andrew

Hi David; Wow! 124 deg.!! You don't have any type of AC in the craft do you? I remember the room from your first trip over there. Looks even smaller.
My first BS at the Lutheran Church was a smash flop!! Much too complicated for some. Even Suzy felt I had moved away from my usual teaching mode. They said they just want to study the Bible, but in my opinion don't want to think! So tomorrow no Hebrew words study and lots of verses to chew on - we'll see (~:}
Suzy says that the number 15 is nothing, a piece of paper. A heavy weight boxing event is only 15 rounds---maybe not a good example (~:} Suzy says you have already made it through the first round.
Jen just called reporting a Chinook crash - one of yours?? Hope not. Love you DAD

David,
Andrew called me about the chinook crash. I am glad you are unharmed, but feel sick at heart about the others and their families. Words can't describe the emotions I felt when Andrew was talking. Tell me what to pray for! May God in his wisdom comfort you and the unit. I love you brother, Sara
