This was taken yesterday as we were debriefing our mission. It was a good day :)

David,

Any job that leaves you looking like that at the end of the day is a good job!

Hello bro. Sorry I write so little, but have been thinking and praying for you. I'm alone while Jen is in Iowa...her sister Megan just had baby girl...pretty cute (beautiful)...and not just because "it" is small :). In her absence I have pretty much slept, eaten, worked and watched "Lost". I think I am officially addicted to the show - almost made it through the first season in less than two weeks! Life has been a little overwhelming as of late. Long list of things to do for work and personally before we leave for Peru and then Bolivia on Jan. 23rd. Officially staying for 6 months and will spend 4-5 of those months volunteering for a couple of children's homes in Chocobamba, Boliva. Websites for the organizations are www.casadeamor.org and www.byministries.org. There was also a recent article in the paper about me...can check it out at www.kvnews.com. If it is no longer on the front page, you can probably search and find it. I pray that God will continue to give you strength and encouragement...remember to do the corn on Thursday!!...given your environment, maybe you will have to use sand instead of corn. - Andrew

Dave,

I would entirely agree with you. There are those days when I would pay to do this.

Andrew,

Don't feel guilty about not writing. I always enjoy hearing from you guys but I do this so I don't have to answer the ever present question of "So how/what are you doing?" or the equally popular "What was it like?" - I can just point them to my blog :) I can only imagine the amount of prep you are doing. That is one advantage of working for the government - they take care of a lot of the moving details :) Thanks for the links - I will look them up so I can at least get an idea of what you are getting into and in the process limit the questions from me. As far as Lost goes - I watched parts of a couple of episodes and quickly saw that wasn't something I wanted to get sucked into. But now that I am over here that may be something I have time for :) Thanks for the corn reminder - I keep forgetting about Thanksgiving. I will throw a couple in for you guys. Love you guys and thanks again for the prayers.
