This is Mike of our flight guys who gave up flying for this deployment to be a TI. Here he is relaxing with his ever present can of Red Bull. He pretty much lives on Red Bull and sunflower seeds. I don't know how he does it.
The sunflower seeds we can understand (: Our standard (and infallible) remedy for driver fatigue. The Red Bull? Double Ugh! (: Looked for TI on word list. What is a TI?
I guess I will have to add that one. A TI is a Technical Inspector. They are the ones who verify that all the work done on the aircraft is done correctly, to include all the paperwork (which is what takes most of the time). They work in QC (quality control) which is the shop I am in charge of.
Re: Quality Control: You have been modest: I did not realize you were in control of anything. (: Asking questions gets unexpected info. (: (me posting as "Dad")
